Welcome to Surefix Plumbing and Heating
The journey began in 2001 when Paul, along with his father Peter, decided to venture out on their own after working together for another company. Since then, Surefix has grown from a small family-run business into a trusted name in plumbing and heating services.
In 2014, Peter expressed that he was finding manual work increasingly challenging and was looking for a way to transition from the tools. To support him, Paul invested in a small plumbing and heating merchants, allowing Peter to run the business side while Paul continued in the field. This decision not only repaid the favour of Peter teaching Paul his trade but also propelled Surefix to new heights.
As the customer base grew, so did the team. Paul brought his sister on board as a receptionist to handle the increasing volume of phone calls and bookkeeping, providing a personal touch that customers appreciated. By this time, Surefix had five full-time engineers, and Paul was still working hands-on.
In 2020, Andy, one of Surefix's best engineers, partnered with Paul. Andy's technical expertise and innovative approach, such as digitising the job booking system, allowed both Paul and Andy to focus on growing the business. Today, Surefix employs 12 full-time staff, and Andy's partnership has been instrumental in its success.
At Surefix, the team prides itself on being a close-knit, family-run business dedicated to providing exceptional service. The company has expanded its operations to include larger contracts for clients like Bluewater and Lakeside, while still offering top-notch service to the public. This year, Surefix is excited to introduce service contracts for all customers, ensuring prompt and reliable solutions to their plumbing and heating needs within 24 hours.
